Police Offers R100,000 Reward For Anyone With Information On Cop Killers As They Pay The Family A Condolence Visit [Photos]

South African Police Service (SAPS) joins the family of Sergeant Donavon Prins to mourn his death as the SAPS tables an offer of R100,000 reward for anyone with an information that could be of help in the arrest of the suspects who murdered the police officer.

Police Minister, Gen Bheki Cele.

The 34-year old police officer who was on duty in Lavender Hill in June 2019 with a colleague was murdered by some suspects who opened fire on them.

Prins sustained injuries and later passed out in hospital.

The other officer who is also a Sergeant, was able to survived by his wife, Shaldene, who is a police constable.

Shaldene said:

“We were both on duty. I was inside the Client Service Centre, but I monitored the radio and I heard the gun shots went off; and a few minutes after that I heard his partner scream over the radio, calling for help and mentioning that his partner Prins was shot.”
