The Management and staffs of the popular radio station, Metro FM surprised its radio host, Wilson B.Nkosi with a celebration for his 34 years of service to the station.
He is one of the first radio DJ’s to work for Metro FM back in 1986 and currently he hosts the much-loved Sounds & Stuff Like That which plays every Sunday on Metro FM, also this has become a household name and has been so for the past 3 decades on the radio show.
The radio station has been known to make some rather controversial decisions with regards to firing and hiring employees. DJ Fresh was dismissed from the station after his Msunery comment, Somizi was almost fired but narrowly escaped, Relebogile Mabotja was given an unexpected chop from the station, Loot Loves sudden departure from her show with DJ Speedsta was also very suspicious.
Metro FM decided to honour the legend and give him his flowers while he can still smell them. In a surprise visit, the station management and colleagues decided to gate-crash his show to honour him.
