After a short musical career in 2000, he began acting on the telenovela “La casa en la playa,” playing Romualdo, which garnered attention and led to other offers. In 2001, he played Cástulo in “Sin pecado concebido.”

In 2006, he filmed “Las dos caras de Ana” in Miami with Ana Layevska and “Así del precipicio” with Ana de la Reguera and Gabriela Platas. In 2008, he played a serial killer in “24 cuadros de terror” and appeared in the romantic comedy “Amor letra por letra.”

He also featured in “Me gustas tú” and appeared in the series “Mujeres asesinas” and “Sexo y otros secretos.”

He started filming “North,” a thriller, at the end of the year. In 2009, he continued his film career. In 2010, he played a villain in the Telemundo telenovela “Alguien te mira.”

Castillo developed a passion for acting from a young age, sparking her interest in becoming a classical and jazz dancer. She began her journey by studying at the Centro de Educación Artística of Televisa for three years, graduating in 2003. Almost immediately after, she gained recognition by being named “Chica E! Entertainment.”

In 2003, she was honored with the title of “El rostro de El Heraldo” and became the face of the Acapulco Festival. In 2007, Castillo alternated between her theater work and the telenovela “Destilando amor.” In 2008, she made a small appearance in Gael García’s directorial debut, “Déficit.” During the same year, after completing the season of “Hoy no me puedo levantar,” she received an invitation to participate in the Spanish production of the same play, leading her to relocate to Spain for a while.

After several years away from Mexico and telenovelas, in 2010, she took part in the series “Mujeres asesinas” in the episode titled “Eliana, Cuñada.” Later on, she joined the cast of “Teresa,” a modern version of the 1959 telenovela, portraying the character Luisa de la Barrera Azuela, the sister of the protagonist.
