Juventus and Real Madrid Knocked Out Of Champions League

In the just concluded last leg of round 16, Juventus and Real Madrid have been disqualified as they both critically lost to their opponents.

The clash between Manchester City and Real Madrid this evening, saw Real Madrid to its defeat as they lost to Manchester City 2-1 with aggregate of 4-2 making Manchester City qualify into the quarter-finals of the Champions League after an occasionally tense but ultimately comfortable win over Real Madrid.

While Juventus won 2-1 against Lyon and had aggregate of 2-2 but unfortunately lost out to Lyon on away goals in Turin, despite the hard efforts of Cristiano Ronaldo to bring back Juventus. Lyon took four points off City in the group stages last season.

Lyon to face Manchester City in the single-elimination quarterfinals in Lisbon on the 15th of August, 20:00.
