Love Island SA’s Nadia Jaftha Speaks About Breakup with Xavier

Weeks after announcing their breakup on social media, Nadia addressed the details of her split with Love Island SA’s Xavier Haupt.

The couple, who became favorites on social media after meeting in Sea Point, Cape Town 18 months ago, recently shared insights into the end of their romance.

During a Good Hope FM interview, Nadia shared, “We are both still on very good terms. We both understand where we are in each other’s journeys. It’s still very fresh, and I’d be lying if I said I’m completely fine. I’m keeping myself busy, sometimes it feels like kind of on autopilot. But I do what I can to heal and not be toxic about it.”

Describing the breakup as a mutual decision handled with respect, Nadia expressed her admiration for Xavier, stating, “He is amazing. I will always love him.” She emphasized being in a space where she is focusing on practicing self-love.

In their joint statement, the former couple reiterated that they were still on good terms and highlighted their decision to embark on individual journeys.
